CHRISTMAS 1998

WHINFIELD CHRISTMAS NEWSLETTER 98

All the staff at Whinfield Surgery would like to wish all our patients and their

families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you enjoy the holiday

period and those with bad memories of this year can look forward to 1999.

In the practice we have seen major building work which we feel improves the service

we offer and the waiting area . We also have had Dr Perryman with us as she

continues her training for General Practice.

As you can see the holiday falls over two weekends so stock up with cold cures to

avoid problems finding a chemist.

ASTHMA NEWS - an international agreement to limit CFC use means that some

inhalers of the aerosol type will need to be changed over the next 12-24 months .

Manufacturers are trying to minimise changes but new inhalers may taste or feel

different but should be equally effective.

HEALTH NOTE

Do eat drink and be merry but remember not to overdo it-

look after yourself and others and enjoy the holiday.
