Our aim is to provide a comprehensive and personal service of high quality, working confidentially in partnership with you to help you achieve your desired level of health. Please read this leaflet carefully as the information enclosed is to help you make the best use of the services we offer. THE PLACE

Whinfield Surgery originated from a Friendly Society Practice based in Eastmount Road at the turn of the century, moving through premises in Station Road, Haughton Road and Parkgate Health Centre to its present purpose built modern surgery at Whinfield. There is access for wheelchairs and an area for parking prams and pushchairs. Disabled toilet facilities are available. Car parking is to the rear of the building and there is an independent pharmacy next to the surgery.

THE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE TEAM

Five partners, three salaried doctors, two nurse practitioners, 4 nurses and two healthcare assistants are based at Whinfield and care for approximately 12,000 patients from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Midwives and health visitors are also involved in regular clinics at the surgery.

Practice Administration Team

Practice Manager: Mrs Karol Curry

Responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice. Mrs Curry will help if you have a problem, criticism or suggestion you would like to discuss. She may be contacted if you are unhappy with the service you have been offered and welcomes any comments you would like to make. We have a full complement of administrative staff to support the doctors and nurses and to help provide you with a first class service.
